Water Testing
BTH an NABL/MoEF approved in house laboratory for testing APHA/IS/ASTM's water testing standards are instrumental in specifying and evaluating the methods and facilities used in examining the various characteristics of and contaminants in water for health, security, and environmental purposes.The parameter of water is conformity with the specifications for its use. The construction water, drinking water and package water are all covered with standards for its use. Any water having parameter not in conformity for its use may have adverse impact on intended use.

Water is the most important necessity for the survival of all living beings whether humans, animals or plants, all of them need water. Water is the second most important element after air for the survival. According to the data released by surveys only 3% of the water on earth is fit for consumption.
Water is getting affected in a big way due to the pollutants/contaminants released by the industries and through households with large amount of heavy metals and dangerous bacteria released everyday into water resources like rivers. Agricultural activities also contribute to the water contamination as chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides enter into ground water through leaching. The industrial units release large amount of gases and heavy elements such as sodium bicarbonate, iron, zinc, carbon dioxide, sulphate, chloride, fluoride could prove to be fatal for human health.
